Hey guys. There are some great threads here in what people are doing for performance with their new Si’s. It’s good stuff. I figured I’d start an interior mod thread. I’ve been finding some good looking carbon fiber look trim pieces for our cars on EBay. I’m not a fan of “busy” interiors, but these add a nice subtle touch, not always noticed. What are you guys doing out there, other than shifter knobs and center console fabric?

I’ve done the air vent and hazard light button areas, and steering wheel lower piece so far. Plan on doing the rest after I order them.

I'd love a carbon fibre piece to cover up the piano black trim below the shifter...you can never keep it clean and it seems scratch prone!
Agreed! I hate that piece with a passion, it looks like it doesn't even belong. I wish someone would come out with a carbon fiber trim piece to either replace or cover it. Which I'm surprised hasn't been offered with all the other cool pieces in this thread.

How was the tear down and installation? Any issues? Method?

I know this may be a cheap method, but couldn’t you guys just buy carbon fiber sticker or adhesive and cover that plastic part?

I agree. Hopefully they will come out with something soon.

This would actually be the best method for now to be honest, and a quick one at that. I've just been lazy about it lol.

I got these drop stop things to fill the gap between the seats and center console.

Drop Stop - The Original Patented Car Seat Gap Filler - Set of 2 (AS SEEN ON SHARK TANK) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BYH6C1E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_rp97zb0PGWTHF

I have dropped my phone so many times in the “carmuda triangle” so this has been a life saver.

The factory pieces are fixed in place with adhesive too, so they just popped off?
No the trim pieces that I got go right over the factory plastic. I don’t care for the matte black trim pieces in the car and am slowly putting carbon fiber look pieces over top.
