The factory system was definitely an improvement over the last couple gens ( owned 2010 and 2013 ) but I was getting a rattle from the speaker area of the passenger side. I ended up throwing a pair of JBLs in when I installed the leather inserts in the door. Fixed the rattle in the passenger side and then it started the driver's side.

So I decided to drop it off and get a proper setup installed. Now that everything is properly tuned, only bass is coming from the sub so no more door rattle.

Equiptment Installed:

JL Audio C2-650 - Front
JL Audio C2-600x - Rear
JL Audio RD900/5
JL Audio 10 w3
JL Audio FiX 86 - OEM Integration DSP
JL Audio RBC1

So those 6 inchers fit in the rear deck with no problems or modifications?

I bet that sounds great. It is a nice and clean installation. Looks like the amp is on the spare tire foam insert. Where did the fix86 get mounted?

It sounds incredible...I’m very happy with how it turned out.

The Fix86 is under the passenger seat.

Can the Fix86 be installed on it's own or do you need to install an aftermarket amp as well.

I don't know....I think its wired off the factory amp to the Fix86, then the analog out to the Amp.

Very well done. I'd also be interested to know where in the system they attached the Fix86 (before or after the amp).

C2's are well worth the money and above and beyond stock with everything running through the Fix86 and Amp. The C3's are expensive because of the "convertible" feature can be used as a component or coaxial speaker. The real jump would be the C5's.

Dynamat wasn't bad..picked up a bulk 9 pack off Ebay with the 15% off. Around $140 with the roller.
