The closest I've dealt with is Alamo Autosports in DFW. They were very upfront about everything (scope of work, pricing, etc) and they worked quickly, but it is a pretty small shop so if you choose to contact them I would recommend mentioning that you have to travel in from out of town and need a realistic timeline for the work so that all parties can schedule appropriately.

I will be looking for a shop here in Houston too early next year. Hoping to find a place that does a lot of Honda clutches so they know what to do and will be fast and not waste labor goofing around.

Burden Auto Care in Houston. Look them up. They primarily only work on Hondas/Acuras. I been going there since 2001. Mr. Burden has worked/serviced all of my Hondas and his work and knowledge shows.

Located in North 45 area, any info on good shops is definitely appreciated. So far the dealership on 45 in spring and dealership in Conroe have proved incompetent and ultra disrespectful.
