I finally took delivery on my ‘19 Si Sedan. Took a while to find a black one locally. Traded my ‘09 Si coupe in for it. Pretty excited. Only 4 miles.. first thing was window tint of course.

Ugggg. 4 miles! I envy you. Mine had 76 when I test drove it. It was the automotive equivalent of finding a used mystery condom if a girlfriends bedroom.

So what are your first impressions? Compared to your 09 Si and your new one, what did one have that the other didn’t that you liked? And performance wise, how much better is the new Si compared to the 09?

I got it Friday afternoon. Sat in traffic then had to hop on the ambulance for duty. So the car only has 22 miles so can’t form much of an impression. I was growing old of the coupe. Still a great car, I got it with 13k miles so pretty much new. Can’t bet Reving to 8300 rpms. But man this my new Si one word torque... haven’t really got into yet. Trying to do 500 easy miles first. BUT man this clutch is odd on the 19’ gotta get use to that for sure.

Yeah I can’t remember how many miles Honda recommends for break in period. I just waited 1000 miles. I guess you finally got tired of two doors and decided it’s better to have four huh? Lol I feel ya. I don’t have an Si but I do have the sedan and I also bought my girlfriend the hatchback. Gotta have for doors. Just so much more practical. Plus to be honest I think the sedan is the best looking model. Well congrats on your new ride

Yes it is. I've got 63,000 miles on my Si. After reading the forums for the last two years, I thought that I had it figured out that the "moving target" clutch engagement point was a result of the dual mass flywheel.

I was wrong.

Last week I had the dealer install a "HardRace" rear motor mount. It fixed the "moving target" clutch engagement point and also fixed an aggravating tendency for the cruise control to wander. The HardRace is only a small step firmer than the stock RMM, but it was enough to change the way the clutch felt, and the cruise control operated.

another thing that makes the clutch very vague is the clutch delay valve. a little piece they stuck in the clutch line to delay engagement to a certain speed.
i removed mine early and it made the clutch feel more direct and have feed back.
look up cdv delete. your welcome.
