What do you all think about the black carbon fiber hood on the championship white car? I like it, but ive had several people say not to do it. Just curious what you all think?

i think its a good idea..
i really like it when its paint matched but then lil details are left in the carbon finish. like vents or something.

i don't like it. Having it color matched with some carbon showing on the vents and stuff i think looks good, but having it all carbon is a no for me.

Another vote for painted with CF accents showing thru. Would look tacky on white IMO.

IMO, keeping an unpainted carbon part from yellowing, fading, etc takes more work than it is worth. Doubly so if the car is going to bake outdoors in the Texas sun.

A carbon hood with un-painted vents would probably be best. You will need to wax those vents religiously though.

If you really like the unpainted carbon look, have the hood re-cleared as Seibon's factory clear coat sucks.

Also, carbon hoods can warp (to some degree) with heat/cold cycles.
