RV6® Modular Downpipe for 16+ Civic 1.5T Official Release!

After months of refinement and a soft release. We are happy to officially release the RV6® Modular Downpipe for the 2016+ Civic equipped with the Turbocharged 1.5L (L15B7) engine.

The RV6® 1.5T Modular Civic downpipe replaces the highly restrictive O.E precat/down with a free flowing contoured casting and 3.0"/2.5" tubing. The modular designs allows the 2.5" portion of the downpipe to be removed at the Vband connection and replaced 3" front/A pipe. We maintain all factory heat shield mounting points for thermal management. The entire assembly made of high quality 304 stainless steel and is TIG welded by our master welders in the USA.

This downpipe was completely designed using the latest Solidworks 3D modeling and our Romer CMM system for extremely precise measurements. The transition from turbo to tube was designed using advance flow analysis for maximum flow characteristics. This transition was then made into a high strength 304 stainless precision casting. This allows for a very durable product with optimize turbulence free flow.

On a turbocharged engine, we understand the importance of thermal management. This is especially important with the air intake path directly over the downpipe. That is why we designed this downpipe to maintain all factory heatshields.

Finally found some time to throw our 1.5T 6MT Hatch on the dyno and put down some numbers. All of these runs were done on original tank of 87 Octane that came with the car. The car was bone stock aside from from the downpipe.

These cars get some great gas mileage. We finally burned up the tank of 87 octane and will be repeating the testing with 93 octane and some KTuner base tunes.
