Is it okay to throw a catless DP/FP on without a tune? Will it sense a rich condition and lean out? Or is the tune strictly for removing the CEL code? I can live with the CEL as long as it wont change the normal operation of the vehicle. I do have a KT 1.2 but I've been having issues with flashing recently and want to run catless as soon as I get my car back from the shop.

I ran RV6 catless without a tune for about a week or two when I had to send ktune back for a new license. It threw a CEL but ran fine during that short period of time, however I don't know the long term. It's probably best to run it with a proper tune.

It’ll run fine but you’ll have a check engine light for an o2 sensor code

I have rv6 catless front and dp combo, I had to run it without a tune for a while and no codes. you have to manually adjust the 90 degree defouler to get the o2 timing right, but I never got the catalytic efficiency code.
