I've been on here just lurking without an account for months and always wanted to create an account but didn't actually do it until now. Well here's the reason. This post is to mainly show how well civics will save your ass during a crash. It happened a week ago and I'm still sore as shit and my back is fucked, but I'm alive. His car is worse than mine so he was going faster than I was. Hit by an 18 year old so he got a federal offense and I got an attorney against him. I'll mos likely get another civic and if I do, ill be doing more mods than just my wheels. Be safe out there folks. Oh, and you see that rock next to my car? I hit that lol.

Yup. Luckily/ not lucky we were the only ones on the road atm. We were on a hill so my car went over the curb and his went rolling down the street. He’s alright, other than the felony charge he got from the whole ordeal.

Glad you're ok. My 2012 Civic was totaled in an accident that could have very well killed me too. The damage wasn't as bad because I saw the dude coming but had I not....oof. Walked away with a slight burn from the seatbelt friction.

Cars can be replaced! Hopefully you get a decent settlement from the dude and/or insurance and can get in another hatch!

Hope your body/back bounce back. I was in a pretty back wreck when I was 19 and, while I was sore later in the day... the following day I felt 10x worse... and it took a few days for my neck/back/shoulders to straighten out. I could barely move closing out that first week. It'll take a bit and it may even take you having to get a little physical therapy coming out the other end (my wife had to get a little done when she got in a bad crash some years back) but... yeah... you're still with us. Good luck!

Hopefully a speedy and full recovery for you. Sorry to here of the loss of your ride. An 87 Celica gave its life to save mine once, dude ran me into a telephone pole, crumpling the crumple zones to the max.
