Hi All,

I got curb rash today, wanted to get a quick DIY fix for it since the tires are not damaged . I got the 18" oem dark rims on a sport civic. I tried searching in the forums but no one has really provided a correct/or a slightly close match to the paint. I attached a pic of the damage.

Do you guys think this colour matches it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Im not sure about Canda but in California there are a ton of shops that can repair wheels for you. Id do a google search or search the forums here to see if anyone can point you to a shop near by you.

I would say ignore it as it's only one wheel. Drive it and later you can change the Rim at some point. The repair would cost $100~$150 when the whole rim costs you ~$350. The repair paint wont be perfect or like factory finish.

I had bad curb rash on 2 wheels; the Dent Doctor came to my house in his mobile van, unmounted the wheels and fixed everything - $150.

I’ve got the same problem. Did you end up doing it yourself? And if so was that color a good match?

I know it sounds crazy but as a temporary fix I used a "Big Black permanent felt tip marker". You'll be surprised how much better it will look.
