A friend of mine had a 2013 Camry base model when he saw my civic coupe he liked it .a few weeks later he calls me up tells me he traded it for a civic hatchback sport he had to make sure he one upped me because it got the 180 hp instead of the 174 hp that’s in my car
I was in the market for a 2018 Camry SE (after giving my daughter my 2006 Camry), but saw a Civic Sport, thought it looked great, started doing some research and ended up buying the Si, which is my first Honda. So you can say my encounter with the Sport brought me into the Honda world....

dunno. i crammed a mustang v8 in an old rusted pinto just to troll nice cars at the lights.
280zx motor in a old rusted datsun pickup truck.
nuthing wrong with playing with a sappy car.
i would listen to it before i raced it for pinks. it might suprise you.

even now i use stock exaust on my si with just shy of 300 hp under the hood.
looks and sound are not everything.

What she did tell me was that if I didn't like a thread, or I felt it was not relevant, don't read it
How would I know I didn't like it without reading it? She didn't teach you much

I'll tell you what. Next time I will post a discussion like this in a subforum instead of the Si forum so as to not create hard feelings
Its not about hard feelings or supposed "negativity", it's about keeping technical or at least related topics where they belong. That's all.

This morning I am dropping my son off to school, and there is this guy in a White Camry riding my tail. Anyway, when he gets a chance he makes his way around me and speeds by, and what do I see? A riced up Camry LOL. Now full disclosure, I like the Toyota Camry, it's practical, economical, comfortable and lasts forever. But I don't think I would ever rice one up!! I had my son snap a pic to share with all. He even has a custom exhaust LOL

I... ugh... I have in my mind this must be a teen/early 20s guy who was born about 20 years too late and missed TF&TF 1... he got a hand-me-down Camry from Mom/Dad and gave it his best shot.

Maybe he has a Pentium 4 laptop flashing "Danger to Manifold" and 2 of the big ones in the back. I wouldn't screw with him. He'll smoke you.

Without getting into a protracted back and forth, I can only make a comment that you could have approached this without making condescending comments in the thread. If a moderator of this forum feels that this topic is inappropriate, than they should make it known or shutdown this thread. Anyway, your point has been noted, and I hope to move on, that is all I have to say on the subject

Well, I have to honestly say I didn't know that! I'm wondering if it is still running, or somewhere in junk yard heaven
Here it is. That’s style.

As much as I’d want to hate on this dude, I can’t lol. I totally riced out my Honda Fit lol. At least the Camry has prolly +50hp on my Fit.... though I thought my mods were tasteful haha

Eh, I'd categorize that under tasteful rice lol the aesthetics are clean

There's a bunch of Odysseys around me that are riced out. One guy has the works, chipped paint job, dents all over, fading red ebay emblems, plastic caliper covers, type R wing, red lug anodized aluminum lug nuts and tow hook, and stickers galore with a seemingly stock performance. Been meaning to snap a pic but I'm always too late when he passes by.

I did catch this gem a while ago though
