Installed my reverse LED X's tonight for the FK8, and WOW! are these things bright. They also add function and give extra visibility when using the backup camera. Happy with the lights, and it was a super easy installation.

No update yet. there is person/company that makes a plug in module for the third brake. it goes right into the OEM sockets and is plug and play.

Who is this jason person and how can i get one of the plug and play modules?

Has anyone tested their reverse LEDs to see how much power they consume? I'm trying to get an idea on how bright they are. Power consumption would probably at least get me in the ballpark.

I'm glad the back surface of this unit is flat, similar to my 2019 OEM's. The Optix one I got (I'm guessing) uses some other style housing and it's suuuuper tight fit to try to install it without taking off the front bumper for access.

Yes the there is a big difference. If you are referring to the upgraded Trunk light option. yes there is a big difference. You can see the style of the chip on our website.
