Hi all,

I street park my Civic HB. My car was hit and suffered a broken mirror housing and some deep scratches. Just wanted to share how I fixed it for $50.

The parts you need are:

Part Number Part Name Price Quantity Total
76255-TEM-M01 Housing Set, L $18.50
76251-TBA-A21YF Cap, L Skull *NH737M* (Polished Metal Metallic) $26.58

And the tool you need is just a screw driver and a interior prying tool. You don't need to tear apart your door panel to do this job.

To do the job - here are two YouTube videos that will walk you through:

It would have costed me $300 - $500 to do it - but with the YouTube, it was really helpful.

Scary to park the car like that mid garage. Never know if a button can be pushed somewhere. Good videos though...

great video! can you link where you purchased the parts?!
You can buy by Googling the parts number (below). I bought from a site like https://www.hondapartsnow.com. Pricing across these wholesale vendors are similar. You can avoid paying taxes by buying from a vendor that's outside of your state.

L means left side. R means right side. R has a different part number. Also, make sure you have the correct color for the skull cap that matches your paint color.

Crap- i think i ordered the wrong one.
I need the right side one with the cutout for the camera.

PS- When you replaced the right side mirror did you have to "re-aim" the camera?

Dealer will charge you 300 for parts and 500 for labor and then other "fees and crap"

Thanks for the video!

I don't think you have to "re-aim" the camera. it should just place into the housing and adjust accordingly? I would make sure you record the orientation so you don't install the camera up-side down. (maybe put some sort of scotch tape on the bottom of the camera so you remember that it's the bottom).

I would look at this video to double check how he did it.

I just redid this cause there are several very thin and fragile clips and etc, and while installing the carbon fiber cap (months ago). Some of them had broke off and etc and it wasn’t exactly flush.

3 black screws. 2 visible right in the front and 1 under the mirror housing.

Slide the heated mirror clips (if you have them thru the hole).

this is the part not mentioned I think. Slide the turn signal clip off. REMOVE the turn signal housing with silver screws from old part.

reinstall to new housing.

Again, because of the stupid thin and fragile clips and etc...I actually think it is better to pre-install the mirror cap before screwing back everything together. You get better visibility to where things can or can’t be bend...
