I have 2016 EXL with tires rating 215/50/R17. I was considering either the Bridgestone Turanza Quiettrack or Michellin Defenders or Bridgestone Ecopia

Here are my options with Costco deals ($150 off)

Bridgestone Ecopia 70,000 mile with eco - about $650
Michellin Defender LTX 70,000 mile that will last longer - About $800 ( only available after Nov 22nd)
Turanza Quiettrack 80,000 mile - about $680

I'm not able to find the Quiettrack in my size (backordered for too long) but able to find it slightly wider 225/50/R17. is it okay to use this wider tire?

The aspect ratio is the same, but because it’s a wider tire, the sidewall is taller, which will cause the speedo to read inaccurate. If your wheel width will accommodate, I think you would be better to find the Turanza in 235/45R17. This tire has nearly the same overall diameter as it’s 215/50R17 brother. The downside to this larger tire is the increased weight. It will make the car feel a little slower.

The 225/45R17 is a little smaller than the stock size, so the speedo will register inaccurate, but in the opposite way.

Options to not mess with speedometer are 215/50/17 or 225/45/r17 unless you want to size up to 235/40/r18's. I kept 215/50s rathre than 225/45's but that's up to you.

Thank you both for the suggestions. Thankfully, I got the right size tire at a different costco store
