Hi all,
We just finished installing this beautiful Remus FK8 Catback exhaust for our 2018 Civic Type R. Yes, it is valvetronic. The valves can be adjusted via bluetooth app or a bluetooth button, which is an option that comes with the exhaust.
The exhaust is 100% Stainless Steel construction, and utilizes all OEM hangers. Very straightforward installation, however; when removing the OEM catback, be aware that the OEM exhaust is a 1-piece construction, so be prepared especially if you are doing the install in your garage without a lift! Professional installation is recommended.
Overall, we are very satisfied with the sound. There is no drone during local/highway driving, and the sound is very tame, but aggressive when you get on throttle.
Here are some sound clips of the exhaust with the valves at 0% open, 50% open, and 100% open.
