Remove oem front licence plate holder

Has anybody removed the oem licence plate holder. I mean the one like on this picture

Does the bumper have to be removed? I know it's fastened with more then just the visible center screw.

Remove that center screw and it should reveal 2 screws that's holding the plate to the bumper. No, you don't have to remove the bumper (pain to remove)
