Remote start doesn't reach as far as it did last year.

Last year I had no problem using the remote start from my window at work. This year I am able to lock the door (I can see the tail lights), but don't have any luck when I press the button for the remote start. Is this an issues with the battery in the remote or something else? I wouldn't think that it would be the battery, since I am able to lock the doors.

Anyone else have a similar experience?

Same thing happening with me. Got my car in March '16 but the remote in general wont reach as far.

I've been noticing the same thing, it's hit or miss as to if it'll even work.

Completely true! I thought It was just me. I normally turn on my car from my basement and I don't see the car. Thing is... that the horn or beep is so wimpy that I don't hear it some times. I definitely hate the horn and weak beeps. Someone going to the dealer about this? let us know

To be fair, it's never had a huge range anyway.

If there are other cars in the way, hold the fob to your chin. Bone conduction can help the signal. You may get cancer, though.
