Remote engine start transmitter?

I'm looking to purchase a 2016 EX-T. I'm checking out the price of a build on the website and one of the options to add is a "Remote engine start transmitter" for $96. Wouldn't this transmitter be a standard on the key fob since the EX-T has the remote engine start feature?

Did you have to pay extra to get it on your key fob?

I didn't... I think they make another fob that will start the car, mine goes right from key, no extra charge
