Question for those who tune

On the Civic Si, there's a sport mode button, while on non Si cars, we have the ECO button

I know it would not be EXACTLY the same, but would it be possible to tune the Sport button settings to replace the Eco mode?

Sounds like a great idea to me, though I'm not sure if it's possible or not. I am very curious about this and will share my finds after I explore it.

Update: Ktuner says it can be done. Whether anyone that actually knows how will do it or not is yet to be determined.

That is an awesome idea. I would love to be able to toggle between different tunes or even stock with the push of a button.

I don't think it would change the tune, only the throttle mapping.

Duh...good call! That's what I get for trying to work and check the forums at the same time :)

It does appear to only change the throttle mapping. Im wondering if I can get a really aggressive throttle map programmed for quick driving, then have the eco button programmed for a regular throttle curve that doesnt lead to the "insta-boost-followed-by-engine-outflowing-turbo" feeling of whiplash I've been getting driving with the boost-damping disabled.

The stock eco throttle curve is still too "gooey" even with aggressive maps atm.

Change the ECO button to an EGO button
