Do you change your own oil? If it is overfilled it can create crankcase windage, a condition where the crankshaft counterweights literally whip the oil away from the sump, causing the oil light to activate due to the lower level in the oil pan sump area. Too much oil can be as much of a problem as having not enough oil.
