I have a booked appointment at the dealer next week.

What’s the solutions for this? Any idea?
Anyone already take it in for inspection
I doubt there is one. Curious to hear what a dealer says, but I don't see a reason to bring mine in.

So it's apparent that an inherent design flaw is present. Let's see what remedy Honda has for us.

Your video sounds the same as mine also.

What do you expect them to do? I wonder if it's just bushings or?

I will expect them to replicate this issue, and diagnose properly. Service manager is an amazing tech himself, so that helps with warranty issues.

That's my thought. Probably the ARB bushing. Definitely a trend in other communities too.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Si/CTR use a different compound over the regular Civics.

The dealer may not be able to pinpoint where the noise is coming from, but even if they do, they likely won't be able to do anything about it. Things have less compliance in exceptionally cold conditions, so there wouldn't be a solution if it's that. If it happens to be moving parts that increase tolerance when cold, you can't tighten them or else they'll be too tight once the weather warms up. I'm afraid it's a losing battle that we'll have to put up with when the temperature drops below a certain level.

This is my thinking. I imagine they'll say something about how it's a 'sporty' car and that's the nature of the suspension etc.

I have the same "problem". Probably all the SI have the same "problem".
It's very annoying. I hope there's a recall or something.

A lot of cars make weird noises specifically the suspension or any part of the car that flexes while driving when it’s cold out. It’s been -10 to -30 up north where I am and all the cars around here and making noises, it’s extremely cold that’s why. You can’t do anything about it, absolutely nothing, It’s expected. When it warms back up out there it will stop. If you are not in a area where it’s absolutely freezing and you are experiencing this, then it’s definitely something the warranty can fix.

I agree with the cold, and how sounds appear our of nowhere but, usually a sound like this indicates something is rubbing or bottoming out. I didn't buy a 2006 Hyundai
