Read up on the RMM and it seems interesting, and cheap enough to put on - then take off if I don't care for it. Is that something worth doing, stock? Anyone done it here as an only mod? Did you regret it? It's so hard to judge what 'increased nvm' means in real world terms. If I don't have a bunch of 'stuff' that rattles in my center console, does it shake enough to cause rattles where there are none currently?

Here is my experience with this.....I added a 27won RMM. (Very nicely built part by the way) For ME (you may feel differently) this introduced WAY more vibration/resonance than I was willing to deal with. (I daily my car but for aggressive, primarily race applications this would be acceptable) The solution that worked perfectly for me, eliminated virtually all wheel hop and applying power smoothly was the Perrin insert. 100% happy going with this. Now your results may vary but this is a much cheaper, less intrusive option.

I am running the Whiteline insert, the increase in NVH is very, veeeery slight, whereas any full RMM will introduce a lot of low rpm vibration, which in my opinion is not bearable in a daily driver.

It's one of my favorite modifications I've done to my car, not to mention it's cheap but super effective. When I purchased it I was thinking "If this sucks no big deal, it's cheap"

Yes you will have vibration and rattles that werent there before with a full rear motor mount. Not suggested by myself at least.

I have the Hasport 62a mount. It did increase vibrations in the cabin which you can feel in low RPMS like 1000-1300. It wasn't bad at all IMO and I daily drive my car.

Didn’t notice any increased NVH with the Hasport 62A, but applied some silicone lube to it before installIng.

I’d also like to add that the little amount of vibration coming into the cabin is worth it for the benefit of a more consistent shifter feel and smoother acceleration.

It's awesome you Hasport guys had good results too! Nice to have options. If I ever need more control than I currently have I'll try the 62 myself.

No regrets. No vibration. It reduced the wheel hop. My next mod. is the whiteline anti lift kit.

IF you like the feel of direct line power more than comfort then ANY RMM wont work for you, inserts are the way to go. BUT at some point you should find somebody with a RMM installed and drive it and see how it differs for you. I chose the 27Won cause I wanted the precision and feel of a really good RMM. I grin like a little kid who got away with something deviously naughty every time I start the engine. To each his own...but at least try the other things, you may like it or reaffirm that you chose wisely.

Hi fatherpain.. Just wanna know(coz I have the 27won RMM) - where did you apply the silicone lube and does it last?? Silicone usually hardens up and cracks right?
