I replaced the rear pads on my 2016 Civic Touring because I was told by the dealer they were at less than 3mm. When I took them off, only the outer pad was worn that far, but that the inner pad wasn't nearly as bad. Is this normal? I didn't notice anything abnormal about the condition of the caliper or brake pad mount.

This is the reason they recommend to clean and grease once a year on average. Specially the caliper pins.
So, do you just remove the slider pins, grease them, and put them back? Or does anything else need to be removed or greased?

Yesterday, my small town mechanic put new disk and pad ( and grease) at rear on my wife's LX 2016.
He said these Honda rear break are very cheap. They have lot of rust first day my wife have the car.
Cost $375 Cnd money ( $285 US )
