VIR?

How'd it do with temps?
I was at Dominion Raceway. No issues at all with temps. However, once I was actaully driving out of the track, I got a “Charging System Problem” with a battery icon. I asked a couple of master mechanic friends and was told to let the car cool. I did so once I got home. Went to start it after 2 hours, with he hood up in my garage, and the cel was gone

Wow, the red CTR is super sexy! I was fixated on white or black (b/c in Canada that's all we get) but red is just... wow. I think that is my favourite colour now!

Well done with the pics. It's started to get cold up where I live and because my protection film was just applied last thursday that it hasn't fully "cured" or dried such that I would feel safe washing my car to take some nice fall photos of my car.

Congrats on getting it for MSRP and congrats of getting a RED CTR.

I’ll be picking it up this Tuesday, but it’ll be stock. They are having to fabricate parts for it. I’ll be going back once that is completed for them to install it and test, then back again for the final version

Picked up the car from Fortune Auto a week ago :) They are having to fabricate several parts for their suspension system to use on our car, so it will be a little bit longer (early next year at the latest), but I’ll bring them mine once they have the parts created for more testing.

My next stop was Dress Up Bolts! They were able to install their product throughout the engine bay and hood, adding a perfect touch to the belly of the beast :headbang: They should have their various kits available for our car next month! I promised them I wouldn’t post their add-on’s until it ready for launch, but I did snap a pic as the first bolt was installed

Also, the owners of Dress Up Bolts had a professional photography/videography company on hand to document the process: Gears & Gasoline  They did a rolling video and photo shoot, which I included one shot below...

I also managed to hit 7k miles this week.. that’s it for the latest updates :D

Hey Everyone! Sorry that its been awhile since I provided any updates... In the last few months, I was able to drop the car off with Fortune Auto for their installation of the Series 500 and Series 510 coilover. They had my car for about 2 weeks to install and test everything. After everything was completed, I was able to retrieve my car with their Series 510's and their Electronic Dampening Controller (EDC) installed. I took it for a test drive after they explained everything that went into the install and testing. The EDC is able to change front and rear dampening, while in motion, with 24 levels: 1 is the softest and 24 is the stiffest. The controller also has 3 presets, the same as OEM: Comfort, Sport, Race.

Here are a few photos:

Having driven on them for almost 1000 miles over the last few weeks (I'm over 13k now), I am completely in love with their coilovers! They are comfortable in, to me at least, all settings including Race. I've driven "spiritedly" on local back roads and was impressed with how well the car handled. This is while still on the all season Continental DWS'. I have a set of Achilles 123S, 255/35's, that will be installed soon (still too cold here in VA) so I'll have a better review. I'll be doing several track events over the next few months to give an overall review in comparison to the OEM set up.

Although there is an "Suspension System (ADS) Problem" light on, it does not interfere with anything that I know of. I am able to use the OEM switch for R, Sport, Comfort. I've driven in R and Race for the suspension with glorious results :) I did hit a monster of a pothole, at speed through a corner, that resulted in having an alignment the following day. When this happened, I was sure I had at least bent a wheel, but everything held up. I can't wait to see/feel this new setup on the track and I'll be sure to let you guys know how it goes....
