Radio does not dim in Auto headlight postion

With the headlights set to "auto" the radio does not dim in my 2019 civic hatchback sport. Radio does dim with set to "parking" lights and "on" postion for headlights.

there are two different settings for lights on auto, there is one for the interior lights dimming and one for the headlights themselves. so they can be independent. my interior one dims when very dark where as my auto lights turn when its not even dark out lol
