Hello guys,

My car 18' 1.5T CVT, I do some WOT from 0-66mph, saw that datalog TPS.CMD always followed engine speed.

Is that issue seems normal? or smoething need to be adjust?

your TCS comes into play and restricts TPS to open 100%. only way to achieve 100% WOT is by fully disabling TCS/VSA system

You can try increasing the cylinder fill limits in those areas next.

Even with tps.cmd lower than usual, you are still hitting boost targets. This is rather strange.

Do note that cylinder fill limitation is not 1:1 with mg/STK and I don't have a clue of the relevant ratio. Maybe drob can shed some light

We have been working on an update that changes things behind the scenes to help achieve and maintain proper targets for those with EWG that overshoots. Currently in a beta. Feel free to email support with your ECU number for more info.

Wait so it's the tune and not a wastegate problem?

You didn't read the post correctly if that's what you got from it. We have settings in testing that help those of you with EWG issues achieve and maintain boost targets.

Nah I remember there was a guy here about 4-6 months ago who was complaining about not making boost and that ktuner said that his EWG was the problem that it has nothing to do with the tune and that its a mechanical problem, I mean if it was mechanical then how come you guys have a tune now to maintain ewg boost

The ECU runs the EWG, therefore a workaround was able to be built in this case, which is what I said is what we're testing. That doesn't negate that there's issues with the EWG.

Since very few people have the issue and everyone else running the same exact tunes do not, the tune was not the cause. This has already been discussed to death.
