Ok guys and gals... just pulled the mod trigger on my 18 FK8. Need any advice and guidance you guys can provide for the following mods. Would also like to get an idea of gains with these mods.

Just a little back ground on me so you can provide good feed back.

I am an engineer and am mechanically enclined, so please respect that. I own two moded Corvettes both in the 700 whp range. One a C5 Ls1 and the other a C6 Callaway Super charged LS7 427. My point is I’m looking for good mechanical advice on installing these mods.

Ok sorry... Here is the list:

PRL intercooler
PRL Stage 1 intake kit
USR turbo blanket
RV6 C-coated DP and FP
KTuner V2

What can I expect installing these mod’s, any tricks ? Looking for experienced advice.

The good thing is, I have a lift!!!

What should I expect for gains with the mods and Stage 1 tune?

Thanks for your time, I’m aware these topics have all been addressed on the forum in the past. I’m looking for people I can contact if I run into issues!

I share your same background, the list you have in a great starting point! But first I would do a oil catch can. Also look into the entire Acuity shifting kit you won’t regret it.
My car is currently running basically the same setup on 18s.

So a catch can is definitely on the list. The only thing I am struggling with is which side? PCV or CCV? Both would be ideal, but may have to wait for that.

Looking at the shift kit now! The ole lady is going to kill me!!!

You really only need it on the PCV; check what @JLOracing has to say about it. I have the mishi catch can so far 9k miles.

With those mods, a custom tune is honestly your best bang for your buck.

I concur with what Derek said.

I have essentially a similar mod list as you (also have a full exhaust), and with a custom tune from Derek, we were able to get 372 whp / 385 wtq (with a catted downpipe). That was 30whp over the Ktuner Stage 1 DP basemap with same mods (which gave me around 344 whp). All numbers from a dynapack.
