I own a black 2017 Civc SI. If you're anything like me your area had atrociously hard water. Nothing you do can keep them from popping up even after a fresh wash unless you actually have shade to wash your car in (I do not at any point in the day). So the cheapest and most effective solution I have used is a spray bottle with a 50/50 white vinegar and distilled water solution. It eliminated 99% of the water spots. Now I will preface you should use and auto detail after just because vinegar is acidic. It has been a life saver in keeping my car looking like glass. I know a lot of ppl already know of this method but wanted to share the before and after results below.

Yep. Thanks for the info. Mine got pelted with a sprinkler at a hotel over the weekend and has terrible waterspots now. Also black. I washed and spray waxed yesterday but it was overcast. Looked pretty damn good (so good I took a pic LOL) till the sun hit it today and there are waterspots everywhere. UGH. Next hand wash Im going to have to hit it with a vinegar spray over before I spray wax.

I totally agreed with you. Using vinegar is good to remove water spot from car windows. It has acid so it is easy to get rid of them. And it also easy to find at your home and cheaper than other products.
