    Hello all,

Have been somewhat active on this forum for the past few months as I was doing some forum research on cars I was looking at buying. But I brought home a 2019 Coupe Si just yesterday, my first new car! Previously was driving a 2009 Acura TSX and wow what a difference.

Just wanted to introduce myself and proudly say this is what I decided on and I absolutely love the car. Excited to be a part of this community as well! First up is swapping out those awful orange side markers and probably some tint within the next few weeks. Will be staying stock for a while power-wise.

Pictures from a mini photoshoot I just got back from:

Coupe has the most unique look.

Congrats on your purchase! After seeing so many pics of coupes on this site, its definitely growing on me! ALMOST regret going with the sedan

Thank you! I was so tempted to just go sedan since they were a little easier to find and this would be my first 2 door and I was worried about long doors, visibility, etc., but I'm so glad I picked the coupe. And especially the white coupes flow the best imo

Congrats on your purchase. I’ve driven many coupes and I have to say that the civic coupe has the least blind spots than most

Thank you! I completely agree, the visibility is excellent. I also sit decently close to the pedals because I have shorter legs. So the B pillar is nowhere in my way. The only complaint I have is that the wing takes up 1/3 of the rearview mirror, who am I kidding, that's a benefit! :p

    Thank you! Coupes unite!!

I'm going to take it easy on power mods, I may get an intake in the new few months and possibly an exhaust. I'm just ordered some new sidemarkers to get rid of that awful contrasting orange. I'll get tint in the next month or so too. For now I'll just be small visual mods on the exterior and interior. Probably a chrome delete on the outside, maybe a Type R armrest and eventually wheels/tires and tune once I don't feel bad about negating my warranty.

Looks great! Sidemarkers were my first mod too :D

Same! I love my sedan but the white coupes look so good...

Awesome, sounds like a plan. I'm going with some light exterior mods to start out with. Will end up with 27Won Intake and Ktune V1.2 within the next few thousand miles. Keep us posted on the changes!

Congratulations on the new car. I have the same car except in tonic yellow. Window tint is a great idea. I plan to leave mine stock, concerned about warranty and the added stress to such a small motor.

That was my first upgrade. Didn’t like the orange either
Getting rid of the orange side markers was my first upgrade

Thank you! That's exactly my thoughts, just visual mods for me for a while until I get bored of the power which will be a while.

It should be everyone's. In reality the DOT should stop forcing the US cars to have these ugly orange markers. Your car looks great! I love the HPF lip and the red mirror caps, ties everything together so well

The dealership I got my car at had a black sedan in stock, but i had to have them get a coupe for me... the aesthetics of the coupe are a lot sleeker IMO. I really didn't like the rear of the sedans. White coupes with carbon fiber wrapped hood (or if you have money to drop on a seibon), carbon fiber roof wrap and the spoiler wrapped look real good. Nice choice, and congrats!
