Vit was saying from another post that this would take some work to make it fit on the SI. Looks to have a type R downpipe as well.

I don’t believe this is the big turbo kit they are working on, this is just another option to put on the table. TD04 is not a big turbo, definitely a big upgrade from the TD025 we have.

I don’t believe this is the big turbo kit they are working on, this is just another option to put on the table. TD04 is not a big turbo, definitely a big upgrade from the TD025 we have.

This turbo swap took quite a bit of effort to become a functioning design, which we anticipated. Sadly, this will most likely not be offered as a production kit due to cost and time. We plan to use this project as a learning tool to figure out some of the ECU tuning issues (compressor maps, torque tables, etc), fueling limitations/issues, and other obstacles that will arise when jumping into the "big turbo" game. All of this knownledge and experience will be implemented in our true "big turbo" kit that is currently being kept under wraps. This kit will be capable of much more power, much more cost-effective, easier to install and cleaner in the engine bay.

Also, the downpipe is not a Type-R downpipe, as the downpipe-to-frontpipe flange is different between the 1.5T and Type-R 2.0T. We built a custom turbine outlet flange and downpipe for this turbo swap.

I am pretty sure other companies do this but are not as active as PRL on their social media game.

@PRL Motorsports when you find the fuel limitation. I wouldn't be opposed to a fuel pump upgrade or a methanol kit

I'm hopoing you guys do a whole package! Big turbo kit, internals, and a clutch.
