Can you rephrase? Can we remove the bolts for filter replacement with loctite? I think a washer would do or these bolts?

The washers are a good idea to distribute the load and absolutely us consumers should look into stronger bolts.I meant to ask if I can remove the bolts so I can open the cover when it's time to replace or re-oil the filter. The worst part is when you're trying to remove these bolts, you end up rounding out.
I think a washer would help securing these bolts or get stronger bolts so you can torque it a little more like the one I'm listed above. There are options at the hardware store. I just listed it there as an example.
You'll have to remove the entire air box then the lid.The washers are a good idea to distribute the load and absolutely us consumers should look into stronger bolts.
I think we have to remove the lid in order to clean the filter, I don’t think it can be taken out otherwise.
Correct and that’s one of my initial concerns even before I ordered. It’s just painful for lazy people like me ;-)You'll have to remove the entire air box then the lid.
Awesome news. I had a decent sized gap on the side that connects to the turbo inlet pipe after installing last night. I'm thinking that maybe I received a leftover from the first batch with the original silicone tube, because my kit also came with the limited edition clutch reservoir sock (which was awesome!). PRL was great about sending out a replacement tube no questions asked, so hopefully the new tube's fitment is equal to yours.Installed my replacement hose yesterday. Definitely fits a lot better than my first one.
I went to Home Depot and picked up some M5-0.8x10mm bolts, washer and blue Loctite yesterday. Definitely get more torque with the Philips head, and with the washer, I could feel the resistance when removing the bolts. Not aesthetically pleasing as the other bolts, but I'm confident these will stay on.
Good to know. I have the same issue. I purchase it new from another memberAwesome news. I had a decent sized gap on the side that connects to the turbo inlet pipe after installing last night.
