Awesome, glad to hear this!Just ordered my PRL Flex fuel kit! Can't wait to pair it up to your guys turbo kit
Loving the sounds from the gtx2860r
Depends where you mounted your catch can!will it fit if you have a catch can? is there enough room
hey I know this a fairly old thread but I was wondering, what exactly does this do? does it have the ability to help with MPG other than just overall track performance? (im kinda new here haha)It's time to let the cat out of the bag!
Our Plug 'N Play Flex Fuel Kit for the 2016+ Civic 1.5T is in the final stages of development, so here's a sneak peek.
This kit eliminates unnecessary fittings and potential leak-points by utilizing a custom 3/8" to 1/4" EFI billet adapter union to seamlessly connect the ethanol content sensor to factory hardline.
Kits also come standard with a @KTuner Flex Fuel Converter and full PNP harness, which means no need for a wire tap or add-a-fuse. Mounting brackets (not pictured) for ethanol content sensor and converter also included. Pre-orders will be available soon! Stay tuned for more pictures as well!
Compatible with both @KTuner and @Hondata!
Kit Includes:
- @KTuner Flex Fuel Converter Box w/Mounting Bracket
- Continental Ethanol Sensor w/ Mounting Bracket
- Plug 'N Play Wiring Harness
- Billet 3/8" to 1/4" EFI Adapter Union
- 1/4" Fuel High Pressure & Ethanol Compatible Fuel Hose w/ EFI Quick-Connect Bundy Fittings
- Zip Ties
Way off . It only adds the ability to read ethanol content in your gas.hey I know this a fairly old thread but I was wondering, what exactly does this do? does it have the ability to help with MPG other than just overall track performance? (im kinda new here haha)
This kit simply gives users the ability to use ethanol (e85) fueling on the fly while properly compensating/tuning for the fuel mixture in his or her tank. Customers will need a flex fuel tune, which is essentially a pump gas tune and an ethanol tune. From there this kit kit will determine the amount of ethanol in the tank with its ethanol content analyzer for optimal safety and performance. Before Flex Fuel, customers would have to manually calculate and fill their cars to guestimate for one and only one specific fuel mixture. We recommend discussing desired ethanol content with whichever tuner you may have in mind. Essentially ethanol will allow you to run more timing and/or boost, which in term aids in efficiency. Ethanol also burns a bit cooler than regular gasoline which can decrease cylinder/engine temperatures and decrease chances of detonation.hey I know this a fairly old thread but I was wondering, what exactly does this do? does it have the ability to help with MPG other than just overall track performance?
