Previous Gen Type R wheels - what nuts to use

I have a set of wheels from a prior generation Civic Type R with a 5x114.3 bolt pattern that will fit amazingly on my 2018 Civic Coupe

Should I be using my Project Kics nuts or the OEM ones? I'm afraid the Project Kics being a ball seat are too small and may not provide enough surface area to hold the wheels....is this being paranoid?
