Hey guys, if you really want to prove your LEDS are "fine" and "work for me" Lets get some actual out put shots. taking a picture looking at the headlight proves nothing except that they glare.

So below you will see the comparison of some Hikari top end LEDs in my headlights and my Morimoto HIDs. Even these more "expensive" leds are complete trash.

Are HIDs considerably brighter than LEDs? Absolutely. But for many (including me) using a simple plug and play LED in the low beams is a nice (and economical) improvement over stock compared to the dim, yellow-ish halogens.

not seeing anything in this photo that shows LED are “complete trash” and if you want an apples to apples comparison of output, you should be shining the beam pattern on a wall with a test pattern overlay.

FYI, the HID hitting more of the sidewalk to the side of oncoming traffic is actually not desirable.

If you cant see the trash throw in my pics, you're blind. I mean, I even CIRCLED THEM for you. You can clearly see where the HID fills in the whole beam pattern and the led have large gaps in coverage area. Banging lights off a wall is just one way to judge. A lux test is another and a real world beam shining down the same road with two different bulbs is a 3rd. You can argue this all you want. but 99% of LED drop ins are in fact trash. And did you really just say width is not desirable? lol move along

Would you guys say it’s smart to leave high beams as the stock bulb? I say this because if I were to have trouble during rain/snow with the white lights I’ll have that as a back up. However, I don’t know s***t lol. Let me know your opinions.

Generally in heavy rain/snow or foggy condition you shouldn't use high beams as the light gets reflected alot. Preferable to use only low beams. if you are using LEDs then put yellow led lights for fog lights which can you help you a lot.

What is the easiest way to put Fogs in? I dont want to remove the bumper....has anyone removed the sensing panel on the driver side to install the LED fog on that side?

Thanks!

Yeah, that's the easiest way for sure. Work your way around the outside prying with 2 small flat blade screw drivers. There's about 10 male tabs on the grille that need to be flexed out of the slots which is kind of a pita. Just be careful you don't mar the soft paint when you pry them out. Ive had them out 6 times now. I imagine your ex grille is pretty similar.
