I'm looking to buy Enkei RPF1's. I am undecided if I should go with the 17 or 18 inch size for stock suspension.

I am driving a coupe and have always felt the RPF1 visually looks 2 sizes smaller than they actually are, but I don't want to install coilovers yet - maybe in a few years, but not now.
Yeah, I had RPF1's in the past. They're ok IMO if you're upsizing a size, then they don't look too awkward. But if staying with the same diamer wheel, they look smaller because the spokes end at the INSIDE of the hoop. Sort of some visual f**kery going on. Lol. THey're light no doubt, but tire weight mre significant than rim weight anyway.

I have an Si, so I went 18" as I didn't want to go any smaller.

Hey I’m looking to put on 225/40/18 40mm offset would it be flush look?

2016 sedan exl
Not flush, but an improvement and maybe close enough. Better than what is on there for sure. Assuming you're talking about 18x8"?

Yeah 18x8 was thinking maybe 245/40/18 with a 35mm offset for a flusher look but wasn’t forsure.

I don't really like a 245 on an 18x8 personally, but if you do, the Pirelli PZ4 is fairly narrow for a 245 and also REALLY light weight. I'd prob stick with the OEM size tire if I was on an 8" rim.

What would you recommend for a flush look cuz that’s what I’m really trying to aim for

^^^Looks good! I was looking at those wheels in that finish as my other choice before I decided on mine. Offset looks pretty close to perfect too. How do you feel about the protruding spokes? Do they offend in person? I think that is why I went with a different wheel even though I really like the harder angles on the 559 vs the softer look on the wheels I got. I also did like the added width of a 9" rim too. Might have been easier choosing rims if I didn't have so many qualifications like (cheap, light, good looking, proper fit, etc). Lolz.

Lol,Was just one of those things where as soon as I saw them I knew it was what I wanted. I also liked the 8.5 wheel width and +35, gave me the more aggresive footprint I was looking for

Easy question, will 18x8 35mm off set on stock rubber rub, and stock suspension? I do some easy autocross, and don't want a rub

+35 should be ok at 18x8, especially at stock height.
