I went with the Street. It's not obnoxious by any means and has a nice deep tone. I've driven about 1k miles since I put it on and have had no regrets - I love it!
awesome thanks! ive been wanting exhaust but with almost 50min drive i didnt want a super drone exhaust or loud exhaust

I will be honest and say I've installed quite a few aftermarket exhausts on my cars over the last 20 years and I've yet to experience one that didn't have at least some kind of drone when driving. That said, the MAP Street is very tolerable IMO. Hell, my Z with its factory exhaust has more drone (when running it in Track mode) than the MAP. I think if drone is a huge deal for you, stick with the stock exhaust and just change the tips if you don't like the HDMI port.

drone isnt a major deal my tacoma has the borla s type muffler with no resonator and it has tones of drone plus tire wine lol i was just wondering if its awful to the point you lose your mind and want to rip the exhaust off lol thanks for the input man that helps a lot!

Love all the different wheels in this thread! I ended up going with the TRMotorsports C4 wheels. I opted for the 18" x 8" with a +35mm offset. They will be wrapped with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S 235/40/18 tires. Here is a pic of a 2019 Si I found on grassrootsmotorsports.com with the same wheels but with 245/40/18 tires (pretty sure its also on stock suspension) -

What is the make and model of the Black with Red ring? I have been looking for something like this.

This fitment is perfect! Good looking wheels, too. I'm also looking at 8" wide aftermarket wheels, and popular offsets seem to be +45 and +35.

Do you notice any handling differences due to a 15mm difference in offset from stock? Not sure if that's easy to distinguish from differences due to dropping ~7.5 lbs per corner and switching to a performance summer tire, but I'd also be interested in your experience with those changes, too.

Hey all,

New to the 10th gen scene and thought I'd share my setup. Not really aftermarket wheels per se, but not stock either.

Wheels- '06 Acura RSX Type-S (painted satin black)
17x7, 45 offset, 64.1 center bore- exact same size/direct replacement for the stock EX hatch.

Tires- Continental 215/50/17

Fenders- no modification

Thanks! I haven't noticed any difference with the offset change other than it looks way better compared to the +50 with the stock wheels. The weight and tire compound though made a world of difference. It totally changed the handling characteristic of the car for the better. Way more grip than the all-seasons which inspires way more confidence going into the turns. Acceleration has improved as well. The only downside really is they wear out twice as fast. I love to drive though and gotta have 'em :drive:

Hey, neighbor!
Offset looks real good!

I am torn between getting one of my curbed wheel replaced or getting a set of new light+forged wheels 18x8.5+40 or so. I believe light+forged wheel and good tires are the way to go.
I did a few things on my Sport but the SI springs + rear bar is like how the car should have been from the get go.

Ok, that's too much for me -- because after nine months of grip like that, then the day I switch to my 215-width winter tires is the day I spin off of I-95. :p
