What’s the long answer
why are you going smaller? that's just silly
get 8.5" wide with a ~35mm offset if you're gonna change anything
you can go to 9.5 with ~40-45mm offset even

Why I’m asking this will be my first pair of after market wheels ever I want very minimal poke but a bit more aggressive than stock

Konig Freeform - 18x8.5 ET35 - Flow Forged Construction - 19lbs
Continental ExtremeContact Sport (ECS) - 245/35ZR18 - 340TW - 21lbs
Mishimoto Aluminum Locking Lug Nuts - Light LOL
H&R Sport Springs - 1.25" drop Front, 1" drop Rear

Loving how it sits, and there is no rub which is a huge bonus. I have -1 Camber up front, and the front passenger tab has been bent up for clearance. On the same wheel size and suspension setup, BUT with 235/40 I had rub over bumps.

Looks good! Is that the bayson r front lip?

aggressive with the offset yes,but not by having a narrower wheel sweety....i would not go less than 18x8 with the stock tire

Rota Slipstream 18x9.5 +35 on all corners. Lowered on Eibah Sportline springs. Running the oem sport tires 235/40R18. Has a mild stretch but no rubbing with me my fiancé and my Rottweiler in the back

Probably the best wheel size on this gen for sure! I did a lot of research trying to get the widest rim with out having to worry about rubbing.

-0.5 camber in the front and -1.9 in the rear. Was able to get the toe dialed in to 0.05 degrees. Very happy with the way it rides and handles. Great for a DD.

Where'd you pick these up? I've been looking for this size forever and can't find it.

Anyone here has BC racing extreme low coilovers? I’m having difficulty deciding between 17’s and 18 inch wheels I know 18’s would look better but I don’t want to make the mistake of choosing the wrong wheels and end up rubbing especially since I’m going to be on extreme lows

17s or 18s or 19s wheels will be fine for extreme lows.
your more concern would be...
- wheels width
- wheels offset
- tires size
- stiff spring rates

amongst other factors... tab mod and negative cambers... etc etc.

but have fun!

What tire size can the stock 16x7 aluminum wheel fit? 245 50 says 7 inch minimum width, but tire shops dont want to mount this combo? I want to lower the car an inch or so and keep stock wheels, what tire size is optimal in your expert opinion?

for 7 inch width on a 16 inch rim probably oem 215/55/16. 215 is normally the best for 7 inch. I can't imagine an inch drop will rub on 16x7 with a 45 offset (stock).
