Hey guys,

One day I was driving my car and everything was normal, but the next day my clutch started to feel soft and then continued to get softer as the days went by. The clutch still engages just fine, but the point of engagement feels a lot weaker. I tested to see if my clutch was slipping and it wasn't, so that lead me to believe there's a leak somewhere or there is air in my system. I have about 16k miles on my car, all of which were driven during this whole year.

I'm still new and learning, so I wanted to know if its for sure the problem are my my lines / cylinders or it might also be the clutch itself as well. Any help or advice would be great!

Thank you!

Check your brake fluid reservoir since that’s what the clutch uses

A little below shouldn't change the pedal feel but better to top it off to max line

For sure going to do that. Could it mean that I might have air in my clutch lines?
I mean you could just bleed your clutch again to check to see if there are bubbles or not but there should not be any bubbles especially if you haven't messed with it. Another thing is it could all be in your head as to the clutch feeling soft because the stock clutch is already super super soft compared to any I have ever driven tbh

Hmmmm alright, I'll try bleeding the clutch and see if there's any difference.

Thanks for your help!

Yeah pedal will be soft regardless because that's how OEM actually is for these 10th Gens and you will see if there are any bubbles or not during re-bleeding anyways.

There are days in my Si where I can feel pressure on my clutch and other days where it feels like nothing is there, yet works fine.
Colder weather is when I feel more pressure. Hotter weather and moisture is where I feel less.
This happened both with and without the CDV.
My SS line was replaced and had everything machine bled, so I know that is fine.

I remember thinking it might be me switching to heavier duty shoes, so I wore the same pair everyday for a month.
Definitely not the shoes.
I also don't keep the clutch pushed it longer than it needs to nor go anywhere near redline.
