Just looking around... cane across this website I'd heard of before. Looking at their page:

MHI Options: DSM, Miata, Honda, MR2, 3kgt,

Billet Compressor Wheels and Turbine Options

16g billet extended tip ($155)

20g 6, 7, 11 blade extended tip 52.6 x 68 x 71 ($155)

30r 6 blade extended tip 53.11 x 71 x 74 ($155)

7 blade 55.11 x 75 ($155)

6 blade 56.24 x 75 ($155)

60-1 11 blade 58 x 76 x 80.5 ($155)

25g 6 blade 60.5 x 78 ($155)

GT35 7 blade 60.24 x 82.32 x 84.31 ($155)

Given we have a MHI TD025 and they list "Honda"... I thought it might be of interest. I don't know the dimensions of ours, so I don't know if what's listed is applicable.

I looked at turbo city too. They were one I'd heard of being big (or at least I'd heard of them) in the 90s but they sound defunct.

Just sharing info...

a friend of mine that is not quite friends but acquaintances I guess you could say with those guys messaged them back when I got my car, and got a response back in like 40 minutes that they would look at it and said something along the lines of "it would probably be similar to the N54 twin upgrades" but then I never heard anything and messaged them again myself a couple months ago and never heard back.

Fair enough. Between Vits upgrade and PRL's upcoming big turbo, they seem like the only game in town at the moment.

PRL does have where you can send it off to do a polish job on one. I've port matched and polished small engines before. It'd probably have the effect of lowering spool times slightly and the threshold itself, but without affecting the compressor wheel I don't think it would flow much more up top. Problem is, we don't *need* it to spool any lower. If I was going to install a new one, I'd still look at it and at least deburr it. For my N/A small engines that were carburated, polish jobs required an upjet and yielded more power so it definately does help. Their the casting are cheap junk and the exhaust is rough like sandpaper. I just think the compressor wheel will bottleneck anything else good you do on ours for the most part.

I think I'm going to call them next week just to see what they say if they answer.

Do you mean exhaust turbine? Vits does have an upgraded compressor wheel.

Yeah... the polish is on the turbine side. For the turbo tapping out because it can't flow any more CFMs to feed the engine once you're past the midrange... I don't think it'd be very worthwhile. I could see it giving a little improvement if you were running a turbo that can flow to meet your horsepower goals... lower spool and a little more velocity to give a smidge more torque/horsepower at a given RPM.

He "did" it's not listed on his website anymore.

That’s shitty I had no idea Vit is no longer offering the turbo upgrade. Wonder what happens to peoples orders. :dunno:
I was just taking a guess at why it was removed from the site.. not sure why it was removed.. Maybe its something Vit can answer:hmm:

Turbo lab never emailed back and didn't answer the phone either, BUT I have confirmation of another company that should be releasing an upgrade soon and another with "plans" of "possibly" doing it. I also contacted Midwest Turbo/C.R.T and they don't upgrade, only rebuild this turbo)
