Has anybody painted their Si wheels? NOT Plasti-dip but actual paint or powder coated them? I love the stock wheels but want them in a different color.. Thanks! Pics would be appreciated!

I wrapped mine matte black a couple months ago. Plasti-dip is crap on wheels and powder coat sound expensive. Here's a pic

This is not a complete rim wrap. I only wrap the chrome part. Basically, it's an overlay over the chrome only. One tip: use a sharpie to fill in the area where your cutting wasnt top shape.

    I used VVivid matte black

ohh ok, looks good, doesnt look like a matte finish though, it actually looks like a gloss finish matching the rim part thats black already, did you use retractable knife to cut vinyl on the rim?

Yes, I use a 30° knife. Be careful cutting. You will cut into the rim without knowing. Nobody can see it, but it bugs me to have scratches. OCD

Surprisingly, the matte black looks great. Also, you can use the left over vinyl to chrome delete your doors.

Those look terrific! I imagine keeping matte vinyl clean is a bit difficult though, no?

The wrap I use cleans easily like normal washing. I just detail washed my car yesterday and will update this with photo when I get home. Normal soap/water and sponge

Hate to dig up an old thread, but how are your vinyl wheels holding up? I’m a little worried about how well they’d stick, with constant debris and wind and getting washed

I would love to powder coat my wheels but I only have one car and can't afford the downtime.
