Painted front grille?

Hello I have been searching for anyone who has painted or even Photoshoped a front grille of a honda civic the body color of the car. Has anyone seen this attempted? Not sure on how it would look but im interested in seeing it done.

Agreed! ...and the added benefit is that it is factory so it should fit right and last as long as the car does.

This looks sexy as hell. I'm glad I've been lazy about ordering one of those black grilles, I want this instead!

Have you gotten a quote for paint? I would assume for that part of the grill it would be somewhere around $100-$200. I paid a little bit more than that to get my fender flares on my truck painted.

Not yet. Hopefully tomorrow but I think you are in the ball park.

It cost right at $200. Very happy with the results. Would look even better if I lived in a state that did not require a front plate.

The paint match is exact even though it doesn't look it in the picture. The different angles of the surfaces reflect the sunlight differently off the metallic and pearl in the paint. You can't see it with the naked eye but evidently the camera's sensor picks it up.
