I ran my 1/0 next to the large boot behind the brake pedal. This is the only location such a big cable would fit through. This is only temporary since I believe my best options is to drill a hole into the firewall and add a grommet large enough.
I'm slowly installing my amp/sub and almost done with the sound deadening.
I ended up drilling a hole through the firewall and using a grommet for my 1/0.

How did you connect your 1/0 to the battery? Can you post a pic?
I don't want to cut off the OEM battery terminal and was thinking about getting a KnuKonceptz Ultimate Positive Battery Terminal:

I forgot to mention that I did have to grind on the original car terminal to make it flat. That way the 1/0 terminal could fit flush against it.

Here is a little better pic of the sub:

Sorry for he way late response. I ran my 1/0 next to the large boot behind the brake pedal. This is the only location such a big cable would fit through. This is only temporary since I believe my best options is to drill a hole into the firewall and add a grommet large enough.

I just installed the new box yesterday. I can't even explain what a big difference in sound between the cheap box and the custom box is. It's everything I wanted my system to sound like and more. The highs, mids and bass are all there. Now the only thing that bothers me is not being able to adjust any of the basic EQ settings while listening to music through Android auto. I might have to install an external EQ.

Here is s shitty pic of the new box. More pics to come later.

Any pictures available of how you got your 1/0 AWG power wire thru the firewall? I'm looking to do the same.

Cheers!

All I would need is the colour of the wires for the rear speakers + the amp remote which I'm guessing is white and blue.
Did you ever figure out I'd the wires are the same colours fir the hatchbacks versus sedans?
I have the 8 speaker hatchback, so the diagram above isn't for it exactly but I'm guessing it's not far off.

**Edit** I can confirm that the front door and sail tweeter wire colours are the same for the hatchback 8 speaker system as in the sedan diagram posted earlier in the thread.

This a coupe? How'd you get the bigger speakers in the rear?

My bass craving has now surpassed my current setup. I'm now in the process of doing the big 3. I'm also adding a second battery in the trunk. A northstar agm 31. New subs will be 3 sundown x-8 v.3's. At 1
33 ohms I should be pushing around 1700 watts rms to the 3 8's. Getting the alternator out is not as easy as the older civics.

Goodbye trunk!
Sorry to revive this a few months later, but how does your car seem to be running with such large system? You're using the stock alternator with just a big 3 upgrade and 2nd battery right?

That is correct. Actually sold the car now, but I had no issues with that setup. Worked great and batteries stayed charged.

Did you sell it with all your components?
I sold it with everything, except the subwoofer setup. Then I sold the subwoofers to a friend. I still kept the amp. I plan on using it in my new Raptor.
