Old version of LED lights on 2019 Civic ?

What are the visual indicators that the OEM LED headlights on my 2019 Civic are the upgraded ones ? Since both versions looks the same ? How to distinguish ?

From my understanding, they upgraded them only on the 2020 models, not 2019. Visually the 2020 ones are slightly darker looking than the 2016-2019s. You could confirm this by looking up the part numbers as well.

Yes, but i think that Honda has announced the upgraded headlights along with the 2019 refresh. Even IIHS found that 2019 headlights are more powerful and throws away more light. Confused ...
