Oil life not displaying auto stop not working

Hi, I have a 2018 type r and I was messing around before with the menu and reset the oil life.

Since then it has never started displaying just blank dotted lines even when oil is changed.

The other problem is that the auto idle stop won't kick in.

My FK8 has the exact oil life symptoms as yours. The dealer had no idea why. They reset everything and run a diagnostic test and still couldn't figure it out. They told me to drive it for a week or two. I that time I covered a hundred kms and the oil life meter still looked like your picture above.

When I hit 1,200 km on the odometer, oil life displayed 5300 km. After a hundred kms it went down to 5200 km. Seems like it counts by the hundreds. I'm still observing it. Your odo shows almost 7000 km and still ------km on oil life so I'm not sure what is going on.

Does the Type R there have an idle stop feature? Mine doesn't.

Yeah it goes to the dashes after a service has been done normally as this is time for the car to learn your driving style. Once it knows if you rag the ar5e off it or drive like a grandad,it will eventually reflect the miles to the next service
