All clean now. I love this color - I think the styling is a bit over the top and while black hides the lines best, I just can't deal with black paint. PMM is less eye catching and hides dirt really well!. Just hit 200 miles. What a fun car!

When you posted the other day, I sat looking at those for a few minutes trying to decide if I liked them or not. I really couldn't decide, but I must say I don't hate them and I could see them potentially being functional. Probably of little help in your decision, but I could go either way with them honestly.

Hide all the lines??!!! that's what makes this car look so unique lol.

Idk I guess I am with the few that absolutely love the type R styling.

I see those things and wonder whether they are really effective at all in protecting from door dings when the vast majority of vehicles (SUVs) today are substantially higher than a CTR. In some cases, the bottom of their doors are likely above the molding.

From a functional standpoint, if you already have the moldings installed, then they can't hurt. On the other hand, at least in my own eyes, they look unnatural and aftermarket when they don't come from the factory like that (I recognize that they are OEM parts . . . .).

Still useful for protecting the door when your wife opens it into something though :)

"Goddamn it, honey, look what you have done to my Type R . . . . . This car will never be the same. I am gonna go buy a 2019. This should teach you a lesson on respecting my vehicle."

I agree. Especially if you have the stock wheels with bigger sidewall or even 19’s look fine with stock suspension.

Mod decisions are a legit issue! I’ve gone back and forth with lowering on 18s but decided just to go with 19s and stock suspension. Lol that’s at least that’s what I’ve decided on for now....
