I asked for Gloss Black but CRAZY...My coating specialist Chris & Tim at http://straightwheels.com
came up with CityLights X HRE FF15

On his way out after dropping them off I hear him say...the good thing about powder is that we can strip it and start over whenever your ready! lol
Carbonite Han! Thats awesome!

I had my dad buy it in japan when he was visiting my brother and I just had him bring it back with him.

there is a thread on here about ordering honda access items through rakuten global though. Costs $300 or something around there with the fog and harness.

Hi all I'm new here to... introductory post here (*Introduction of Members)

Just picked up my 2018 Championship White Type R last Thursday. Zimbrick Honda in Madison Wi. Paid MSRP for it as this is how they sell all Type R's. I've been working with them on and off since 1997 and they've always been good to me...even on cars I've modified.

Pics here at the dealer...haven't washed it myself yet!

Took this one at work - my plate transfer is already done which means I need my front plate on..but... since I’m moving into PA soon I think I may just run without it (I have passed a few cops thus far and they have not seemed to care) because who wants to mess up the flow up front with an ugly plate.

My backup plan in the event I do get a ticket is to just tape it on the front bumper with 3M VHB tape because it will hold long enough and even if there were paint damage that’s easier to fix compared to fugly holes.

Another alternative would be maybe to tie with couple of zip ties on the opening for the horn?

There is a 3D printed setup that uses the grill to mount. My dealer had already drilled the bumper for me unfortunately. It’s dumb. They cited getting fined if they don’t mount it. I was like who checks anyway. Plenty of dealers do it... I’m gonna have to get a new bumper cover n get it painted hopefully that goes well.

not sure about your state but dealers don't get fined. that's their excuse for already having drilled the bumper. responsibility of front plates where required is on the owner not the dealer so i would call BS on them and maybe even have them replace the bumper.

Yeah they won’t replace the bumper. I already went in several times. Whatever I’ll do it later on. I know how it is. I should have stopped signing the paperwork after seeing the front plate mount on it.
