Why speculate? He ran what he ran. Why not run your best time and get kicked off instead of just dialing back? You are running to run your best time. This makes no sense. No woulda, coulda, shoulda. He ran what he ran and it is a fabulous time.

Big thanks for the video posted Vit btw. That clutch sounds like it's doing work.

I know e-man can do better. That’s why, and because maybe he felt like not getting kicked out? Not everyone wants to get themselves kicked out for not following the rules to get the best time. Also why speculate? I wasn’t speculating, I pretty much said he can and would have gone 11’s. He was letting off. Don’t bash the mans runs. There’s always room for improvement on EVERYONES part no matter what the subject is at hand. Just a tip.

Well the fact that he drove a lot of hours just to get to the Sacramento Track says it all lol. I wouldn't drive that far if I only got one run in

Looks like they had the Sacramento track all to themselves. Which in my opinion was perfect for what they were trying to accomplish that day. I'm sure other tracks were a lot busier

Good point! However, why not go all out on your last run? I have seen many racers let off to avoid getting kicked out but they go all out during their last run. No sense dialing back or letting off.

Otherwise, it is a great run. Great runs even. Especially the trap speeds.

Even more, it gives everyone an idea of what they can run with the mods he has. That's incredible!

Oh yeah, he did this on a stock exhaust. This STILL blows me away as I have never seen anything like this on a turbocharged car. It goes against all the time turbocharged literature I have read on modifying turbos for more power.

I'm not really interested in driving 16 hours for a test & tune.

The restriction is the turbine. It's half the size of the exhaust... why would the exhaust be a restriction?

    Vit,
We both know that typically, people aren't going to be running low 12s at those great trap speeds with a 2" exhaust (or close). It's not the norm. Perhaps it has happened but when cars are modified, (Ex: Hondas), I can't recall anyone saying leave your stock 2" exhaust on with 300hp+ and you'll be fine. We know it's ok on this platform. I just don't recall seeing this on cars in the past. Especially a Honda. So this blows me away.

No one's ever tried to run a quarter sized turbo on a tiny motor before...

I thought these cars had a two and a half inch exhaust

I had no idea you and e man met half way. While it’s a longer drive for you still but way better then a 16hour drive.

The 2.5" exhaust was one of the last components to be swapped out in the MS3 community, unless wanting to get rid of the drone. DP/MP yes, but typically not the full assembly unless going BT.]

Good to see our pioneers continuing to push this platform.
