Great write up. Bought my Aegean Blue sedan two weeks ago, have been mainly on the local roads through break-in, and am looking forward to a long highway trip this weekend. Even though I'm literally old enough to be your father (sigh), I actually had a lot of the same priorities as you -- looking for fun, reliable daily driver, and found the added value of adaptive cruise in the 2020 to be the clincher. And even though I blanched at spending the money, I'm thrilled now that I did. I'm finding it perfect so far, even (knocking wood furiously) the head unit. It's everything that I hoped it would be. I've been finding excuses to drive home on some of the out-of-the-way hilly roads just for the hell of it, it's so much fun. Other than adding the spare tire kit and weathertech window guards, I won't do much for mods. The only other thing I'm thinking about at the moment is a new shift knob. I have a Blox beanie on it now (cold is as annoying as hot, though not as painful), but I may spring for the Super Klasse leather shift knob.
