Hey all,

I'm not much of a "car guy" ... but my new purchase is reallly making me want to learn more!! I drove a 2011 Nissan Sentra SR that I had impulse bought after my 2005 Altima's engine blew up. Put a good 110k miles on it, drove it across country.. it served me quite well but it was an exceptionally boring car. Time to get something new...

I wanted a smaller car for around 25k; basically similar size to the Sentra, Corolla, Elantra, etc... problem was, pretty much all of these cars seemed rather generic, boring, and not going to be much more fun to drive than my Sentra was. Thankfully.. there was one exception... the freakin' gorgeous Civic Sedan. Not only does it look fantastic and unique compared to everything else in the class (IMO).. but it actually has a nice zippy little turbo engine along with best in class MPG! I fell in love with the idea.

After 15 years of owning just Nissan's.. I ended up purchasing a 2018 Civic Sedan - Touring in Cosmic Blue (which was pretty difficult to find.. I don't see very many in this color!). So far, about 1200 miles in, I couldn't be happier with it. Took it down Highway 1 to finish off my last couple hundred miles of break in period and REALLY fell in love. Looking forward to participating here and learning from you all

Hello, my name is Dave and I’m from Massachusetts. I drive a lot of miles and have owned quite a few cars. I came to my Civic Touring from a GS350 most recently and an IS350 prior to that. I love this car and who wouldn’t? I’m averaging right around 40mpg and as I close in on 140k Miles, there haven’t been any significant issues. I’m getting ready to officially pass this on to my son and purchase a new Civic hatchback although the Accord 2.0 is tempting me.

Hey everyone I’m Nabs in Toronto. I own a 2018 WOP Si HFP Sedan. So far only thing I have done is red H oem emblems and nice mats. I plan on 3M clear wrap before winter and ceramic coat. Here’s some pics. Looking forward to learning from you all.

Hey guys and gals(?) Just bought a 2018 Civic Hatchback EX last week. Traded a 2010 Tundra, gas was killing me on a 85 mile roundtrip commute. So far, Ilove this car! It's quick, handles great for not being an Si and gets me 43-45 mpg! I don't have plans to mod, but that may change. Thanks

Hello everyone I’m honored to be a part of this great community, purchased a 2018 Civic Hatchback Sport Touring a week ago, I have always loved the hatchbacks specially 88-91 ef, I do own two at this moment a 91 civic si shell and a 90 civic hatchback std, bought it for commuting purposes but I’m sure some stuff will be done to it, love the forum looking forward to learning a lot from you guys keep up the good work guys.

Hi all! New here yesterday. Don't currently have any sort of Honda, But on Friday got to do a prepurchase ride with the youngest kid(40 yo) in the 2018 Type R he did purchase. Holy buckets that thing is QUICK even treating it nicely because it had less than 25 miles. Have had the following Hondas in my past 81 Prelude, 84 Accord, 89 Accord LXI. After the ride I got on the dealer list as a first right of refusal customer. The wait begins. Have two current toys: 93 Nissan 300ZX 2+2 and a 2005 Porsche C4S. If I buy a Type R some toy has to leave!

Hey everyone, I’ve been a long time Lurker here, and reading all the threads on the X gen civics finally got me to pull the trigger. I’ve had the car a little over 3 weeks and I’m totally in love. The ride, the handling, and the relative quickness of the hatch sport are incredible for a 21k USD car.

So far I’ve only settled on doing some visual mods.

But I’m going to visit the Mishimoto shop here in Northern Delaware and talk to them about their intake, after I get the go ahead from the service writer at my dealership.

What is up everyone! Jay from CA with a 2018 Honda Civic Hatch Sport. I am here to follow everyone's build and just meet like minded people. I am currently on coil overs and about to buy new rims and tires. This car is my daily driver and am looking at older model hondas to buy next year as my project car! I've always loved how reliable Hondas are and the only other car I'd probably buy (if they weren't so damn expensive) would be a Subaru WRX Sti Impreza! Still would be a Honda enthusiasts at heart though!

I'm Chris. Leased a 2017 Si to be an economical commuter car. (my wife has a new MDX) The Si was the only civic the dealer had in manual which is why I picked it over the base civic. After a few weeks with the car I couldn't believe how much fun it was to drive and ended up going down the rabbit hole with tuning. My last car was a bmw 335 6 speed manual and no one believes me when I say the Si is more fun to drive. Also love sport bikes but my BMW S1000 was recently stolen =/ . waiting to see the new 2019 S1000RR before pulling the trigger on another bike. Love the forum
