Hey guys and gals. Looking for some input here and I hope I'm in the right place. As the title states, I am in the market to upgrade from my 9th gen and I am having trouble deciding which route I want to take.
While the Si is a fun little car that can be modified easily for nice gains, it is still no match for the Type R stock. If I bought the Si, I would modify it pretty much instantly. If I get the R, it will stay stock for quite some time.. Minus maybe a tune.
I guess my thing is, is it worth the extra $$ to buy the already quick R (used) or buy the Si(new) and modify the crap out of it?
I know I should just get what I like, but I'd really like to hear some opinions from people who are more familiar with this gen than I am.
