my mirror broke as i was backing in the garage

You need 2 parts. Black plastic housing. And the black body color cap. Hope the camera isn’t messed up. That’s expensive.

the black body color cap survived in one piece, so I would only need the plastic housing.

Camera also survived.

Are the mirrors on these cars abnormally long? I've seen more posts online about broken passenger mirrors on these than any of car.

Hi there! I recently did the same thing to my passenger mirror and managed to fully repair it myself for around 100$. Most body shops will only repair it if they are given the entire mirror assembly from Honda.

Thankfully, my camera was still in tact so that made life a lot easier when it came time to repair. That's not to say it wasn't tricky at first though. Getting everything firmly seated and connected can be a bit of a pain, but after an hour or so I had it good as new without any problems. Going on 5 months now with that repair holding up without issues.
